What size tent do I need for my event?
It depends on your guest count and table style. Our 20x20 tent seats 32 guests with 5 ft round tables (4 tables, 8 per table) or 30 guests with 6 ft rectangular tables (5 tables, 6 per table) — and up to 50 standing cocktail style. Our 20x40 tent seats 64 guests with 5 ft round tables (8 tables) or 60 guests with 6 ft rectangular tables (10 tables) — and up to 100 cocktail style. If you need space for a buffet table, food station, or dance area, go one size up. Our canopies (10x15 and 10x20) work great as food stations, drink tables, or shade add-ons.
How much yard space does a tent need?
Plan for at least 5 feet of clear space on all four sides of the tent for staking and safety. A 20x20 tent needs roughly a 30x30 ft open area. A 20x40 tent needs roughly a 30x50 ft open area. The ground should be reasonably flat. We always confirm your setup location, ground conditions, and available space before delivery day so there are no surprises.
Do tables and chairs come with the tent?
Tables and chairs are available separately or as a bundled package. Our Gathering Point package bundles a 20x20 tent with 6 ft rectangular tables and white folding chairs. The Celebration Point bundles a 20x20 tent with 5 ft round tables and chairs. The Social Station and High Point add cocktail tables and a Bluetooth speaker. You can also mix and match any combination of tents, tables, and chairs to build a fully custom order.
What if it rains on my event day?
Our high-peak marquee tents are weatherproof and designed to shed rain. The high peak design prevents water from pooling on top. If there is a significant weather concern before your event, contact us and we will work with you on next steps. We recommend having a plan for open sides — optional sidewalls are available to block wind and blowing rain.
Can I use a tent for a DIY backyard wedding?
Absolutely — our 20x20 and 20x40 high-peak marquee tents are a popular choice for backyard weddings and small DIY receptions in Central Kentucky. The Celebration Point package (20x20 tent with round tables and chairs) is built specifically for this. For larger gatherings, the 20x40 seats up to 64 guests at round tables. Pair with our cocktail tables, Bluetooth speaker, and concession machines to build out the full experience.
Do you deliver and set up the tent?
Yes — every time. We deliver, erect, stake, and anchor every tent rental, then return for teardown and pickup. You do not touch anything from delivery to pickup. Delivery is free within 20 miles of Lancaster, KY. We always confirm your setup location, ground conditions, and available space before arrival so setup day is smooth.
