Can this tent be set up on a hill or slope?
Large high-peak tents like the 20x40 must be installed on a mostly level surface. A small grade is acceptable, but anything noticeably sloped can create unsafe tension, uneven legs, and anchoring issues. Our team will evaluate the ground during arrival to confirm suitability.
Can this tent be used on concrete?
Yes. The 20x40 can be installed on concrete, asphalt, pavement, or gravel using weighted ballasts. Grass installations are preferred because staking is the safest anchoring method, but we are fully prepared for secure hard-surface setups.
Is the tent clean?
Definitely. Every tent top is washed, dried, and inspected after each rental. You can expect a bright, clean canopy ready for weddings, receptions, church events, and festivals.
How do underground utilities affect setup?
This tent requires deep ground stakes when set up on grass. Because of that, underground utility locating is mandatory. Please call 811 at least one week before your event so utility companies can mark your property. This keeps your property safe and ensures we can anchor the tent correctly. If staking is not possible due to utilities or ground conditions, we may not be able to complete the setup.
Will you handle setup and takedown?
Yes. We install the full structure, tension the canopy, and secure every anchor point. After your event, we return to remove everything quickly and safely.
Is the 20x40 safe in the wind?
When properly installed and anchored, high-peak tents are very stable. However, all tents have wind limitations. If severe weather or high winds are forecast, we will guide you on the safest plan. Safety will always override convenience.
