FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions – Bahama Breeze Rookie Package
What is included in the Rookie Package?
The Bahama Breeze Rookie Package includes the Bahama Breeze Dual Lane Water Slide | 20ft plus your choice of one yard game (Yard Pong, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, or Cornhole). Delivery, setup, and takedown are also included. If you’d like to request a different game from our inventory, ask about substitutions when you book.
What kind of space and surface do we need?
The Bahama Breeze needs to be set up on flat, level ground with enough room for the slide, blower, and safe entry/exit. Grass is preferred and safest for wet use. A slight slope is usually fine, but steep hills or uneven ground may not be approved. We’ll review your space details during booking.
Can we use it as a water slide?
Yes. Bahama Breeze can be used wet. For wet use (May–September), you must provide a standard garden hose that reaches the setup location. The slide has a built-in water line that we connect to your hose. For safety, we do not allow wet use on concrete.
What about power and generators?
A standard household outlet within about 75 feet of the setup area is required for the blower. If your outlet is far away or you’re running multiple inflatables, many customers rent a generator from us for peace of mind. We can help you decide what’s best for your layout.
What ages is this good for?
The Bahama Breeze Dual Lane Water Slide is ideal for kids and teens, generally from about ages 4–16, and can also accommodate adults within the posted weight limit. Yard games like Giant Jenga, Yard Pong, and Connect 4 are fun for kids, teens, and adults.
Are the slide and games clean?
Yes. All inflatables and games are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected before each rental. As a firefighter-owned company, we take safety and cleanliness very seriously.
What happens if the weather looks bad?
Weather can be unpredictable, so we follow a clear weather and cancellation policy to keep everyone safe. You can review the full details here: Backyard Responders FAQs. We’ll communicate with you before your event if conditions become unsafe.
Can you help us pick the right game with this package?
Absolutely. If you’re not sure whether Yard Pong, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4, or Cornhole fits your group best, we can make a recommendation based on ages, space, and event style.
