FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions – Engine 1 Bounce House (Wet or Dry)
Can this go on a hill or slope?
This combo needs to be set up on flat, level ground to keep kids safely centered while bouncing and sliding.
Our guideline is no more than a 1 ft drop per 4 ft run.
Anything steeper creates too much sideways movement — especially when used wet.
Do we need to supply a water hose?
Yes. If you plan to use Engine 1 as a water slide, you must provide a standard garden hose that reaches from your water source to the setup location.
The unit has a short misting line attached, but a full-length hose is required to feed water to it.
Are they clean?
Yes — Engine 1 is cleaned, sanitized, and fully inspected before every rental.
Safety and cleanliness matter to us, and as a firefighter-owned company, we hold the bar high.
What ages is this good for?
Engine 1 is perfect for ages 3–12.
The bounce area, dual-lane slide, and interior activities are designed for younger and mid-age kids.
Teens and adults can enjoy it too, but the structure is optimized for kids under 12.
Can we use this on concrete?
Wet use on concrete is not permitted — it becomes too slippery and unsafe.
If used dry, we can place safety mats and secure the unit with sandbags, but grass with stakes is always the safest and preferred option.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes — ask about our referral program.
Nurses, firefighters, police, and military may text us directly for service-based discounts.
