You’re planning a birthday party or backyard event, and you need a bounce house. The first thing you Google is the price. That’s smart. You want to know what you’re getting into before you start clicking around on booking forms.
Here’s the problem: most rental companies make you fill out a quote form before they’ll show you a single number. Others list a low teaser price on their website and then stack delivery fees, cleaning fees, and damage deposits on top at checkout. You end up paying 30–50% more than you expected — and by then you’ve already committed.
We don’t do that. This page breaks down exactly what goes into bounce house rental cost in Central Kentucky, what’s included when you book with us, and how to get an exact price for your date and address in about two minutes.

We’re a firefighter-owned company based in Lancaster, KY. Every price you see on our booking page is the real price — delivery, setup, teardown, sanitization, and tarps are all included. No surprise fees. That’s our standard, and we don’t bend on it.
Bounce house rental cost isn’t one flat number — it depends on a few things. Here’s what actually moves the price up or down, and what you should be asking when you compare quotes.
A basic bounce house costs less than a combo unit with a slide, which costs less than a water slide, which costs less than a 40-foot obstacle course. Nationally, standard bounce houses run $150–$300/day, combos and obstacle courses $250–$450+, and water slides $250–$500+.
Our themed bounce houses — Engine 1 Fire Truck, Happy Crayon, Police Cruiser, Mini Palm — fall in the standard category. The Castle Clash obstacle course and water slides (T-Rex, Ladder 1, Tropical Wave, Baja Splash) are in the upper tiers.
Most rental companies, including us, price inflatables as a day rental — not per hour. When you book with us for a residential party, you get an overnight rental window from 1:00 PM to 8:00 AM the next morning. No rush to wrap up. No extra fee for keeping it overnight.
Delivery is free within 20 miles of Lancaster, KY. That covers Danville, Nicholasville, Richmond, Stanford, and most of south Lexington. Beyond 20 miles, a mileage fee is calculated and shown before you complete your booking.
Tables, chairs, tents, concession machines, and yard games are all separate rentals. Reference prices: our 10×20 pop-up canopy rents for $130, and a Party Starter Kit (50 servings + cups) is $29.99. Everything else is priced on our booking page in real-time.

“The deposit was reasonable and the price we paid for the large police bounce house was very good compared to other places. It was clean and re-sanitized before the kids used it.”

This is where we’re different from most companies. When you see a price on our booking page, here’s everything that’s already baked in — no add-on fees, no checkout surprises:
At most rental companies, delivery alone adds $50–$100 to the price. Cleaning fees can run $50–$300. Damage deposits add another $50–$200 upfront. Overnight charges can add 25–50% on top. With us, the price you see is the price you pay. Period.

“Great prices, great service. Lots of fun had. My husband and I had just as much fun as our toddlers did.”

Book a weekday if you can. Friday afternoon or Sunday evening parties tend to cost less industry-wide, and availability is better.
Bundle with a package. Our party packages — like the Crowd Pleaser, Showstopper, and Backyard Legend — combine inflatables, tables, chairs, tents, and concessions at a better rate than booking everything separately.
Book early. Weekend dates in summer fill fast — especially July and August. Booking 3–4 weeks ahead gives you the widest selection.
Use the overnight window. Since we include overnight at no extra cost for residential rentals, you get 7+ hours of bouncing for the price of one rental. No hourly clock ticking.
Not every quote is apples-to-apples. Before you book based on the lowest number, ask these questions:
Is delivery included? A company quoting $175 with a $75 delivery fee is more expensive than one quoting $220 with free delivery.
What about cleaning or damage deposits? Some companies charge $50–$200 upfront as a damage deposit. Others add a cleaning fee. Ask what’s included.
Is setup and teardown included? A few companies drop off the unit and leave you to set it up yourself. We handle all of it.
Are they insured? If a company can’t provide a Certificate of Insurance, walk away. We provide a COI same-day, at no extra charge.
Do they sanitize? Some companies rinse with a garden hose. We sanitize every surface and inspect every seam before every rental.

“Knowing a firefighter is at the helm of safety and cleanliness set my mind at ease. He took over an hour to set the slide up with large anchors and mats. Triple checking for safety.”
