Frequently Asked Questions for the Happy Crayon Bounce House with Water Slide
Can this be used on a hill or slope?
Slight slopes are usually fine, but nothing steep. For safety, the ground must be mostly level—no more than about a 1 ft drop over 4 ft of run. Anything steeper causes kids to slide into one side, which can stress the safety netting. If you’re not sure about your yard, send us a picture and we’ll guide you.
What ages is this inflatable best for?
This combo is best for kids ages 3–12. Older kids can still enjoy it, but it’s designed primarily with younger riders in mind. If you’re planning for teens or adults, we’d recommend one of our larger units for safety and performance.
Do we need to provide a water hose?
Yes — the customer must supply a hose long enough to reach from your water source to the inflatable. We provide the shorter misting hose that attaches to the unit, but you’ll need the main hose to reach your spigot.
Can this be used on concrete?
When used as a water slide, this unit cannot be used on concrete because it has a deep landing pool. If used dry, we can place a landing mat to make it safe. We’ll also bring sandbags to properly secure the inflatable for hard surfaces.
Is it clean?
Absolutely. Every inflatable is cleaned, sanitized, and inspected before and after each rental. We take safety and cleanliness seriously—it’s part of being firefighter-owned and mom-trusted.
Is the setup safe?
Yes. We handle setup and takedown, stake everything securely when placed on grass, and follow manufacturer safety guidelines. Adult supervision (18+) is required at all times while kids are playing.
